A Welcome From the Forum Chairman.

Past International Director Tony Hanning

Welcome to the 2012 ANZI PACIFIC FORUM, in Queenstown,New Zealand.

The Organising Committee for the 2012  Forum is determined to provide Lions with a remarkable experience in Queenstown from Friday 31st August through to Sunday 2nd September. Protocol Chairman, PID Ron Luxton, has made a great start with attending to the detail that ensures success.

The outstandingly successful 2011 ANZI Pacific Forum on the Gold Coast, was hosted by Australian Lions. Attendance was over 700! We can cater for 400 only, so register early to avoid disappointment.

The Headquarters Hotel is the Millennium Hotel, a well-appointed venue, accommodating our International President, International Vice Presidents, and other senior Lions including Past International Presidents.   You are invited to stay there, too, and share their daily company as part of the Lions’ family.

Stimulating Forum speakers are being arranged. Challenging  seminars  will be held in the Millennium Hotel   and nearby Copthorne Hotel,  PID Cliff Heywood is arranging a great seminar programme and team of presenters.

Women Lion members will have the opportunity to meet and share the experiences of some of our outstanding leaders like PID Lucie Armstrong, PCC Sheryl Jensen and current MD202 Council Chair, PDG Jo Cameron.

Enter a team in the Forum Golf Tournament organised by Deputy Chairman, PDG Jack Allan. Enjoy a great international day out with fellow Lions playing for Past International President Kajit Habanananda’s  trophy.

Volunteer for the Forum Choir. Meet and sing with other Lions from New Zealand, Australia, and Indonesia. Sing on the TSS Earnslaw during our  early evening Forum cruise on Lake Wakatipu, then have a night on the town.
